Primary Duties / Brief Description of Work :
The Senior System Administrator is a key position within the Information Technology Department. We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure by being responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. Work requires a high degree of technical knowledge of computer operating systems, maintenance processes, best practices, and extensive knowledge of systems management. The position will research and recommend enterprise infrastructure systems; coordinate and manage systems installation and configuration; resolve technical problems to support customers, business applications, and systems; and administer and maintain enterprise systems. Work is performed under the general supervision of the IT Network and System Manager. This job is Exempt and is not subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and Takes part in On-call rotation for 24-hour systems support.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years as a Systems Administrator or Storage Engineer "or" a High school Diploma / GED with 7 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Storage Engineer.
- Proficiency with Storage systems and environments.
- Proficiency with Storage protocols.
- Proficiency with VMware.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Proficiency with Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2022 operating systems.
