Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to serve as Shop Assistant. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
Collect monies from patrons for green fees and cart rentals; maintain records and balance cash register totals against cash on hand; prepare daily revenue reports.- Provide assistance to patrons in regards to starting positions.
- Review and enforce rules and regulations with patrons.
- Assist in maintenance and upkeep of the pro shop and clubhouse; pick up trash and litter; clean bathrooms, sweep and mop floors.
- Sell, pickup, clean, and bag range balls for customer usage.
- Inspect and clean golf carts; tag cart and notify supervisor in the event of the mechanical failure.
- Answer questions and provide information to golfers regarding golf course operations.
This job is Non-Exempt under FLSA policy.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid NC Driver's License
- One year of cashiering and/or book keeping experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in golf shop operations
