Salary Information:- Full Salary Range: $63,011.00 - $112,756.00 Annually
- Expected Hiring Range: $65,532 - $86,226 (Based on education and experience)

As a Civil Engineer (Project Design), you will be responsible for:
- Performing technical and professional engineering work related to roadway, water/sewer line, bridge, storm drainage, and sidewalk construction projects.
- Designing and preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for public works projects.
- Managing design phases, including survey coordination, utility impacts, right-of-way, and easement requirements.
- Utilizing AutoCAD and other engineering software to develop project designs.
- Reviewing and submitting plans for state and local approval, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Attending construction meetings and collaborating with contractors, consultants, and city inspectors to resolve on-site issues.
- Serving as a Project Manager, overseeing consultant designs and ensuring projects stay on track.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university and 1-3 years of experience in roadway design and project management
OR Associate’s Degree from an accredited college/university and 5-7 years of experience in roadway design and project management - Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Engineering Intern (EI) Certificate
- Experience working with a municipality or other public agency
- Experience using Carlson Software
