The Housing and Neighborhood Development Department is looking for a dedicated Community Development Analyst to play a key role in managing housing projects and programs that support sustainable homeownership and address affordable housing needs in Greensboro. About the Role: The Community Development Analyst will: Manage housing programs, including homebuyer down payment assistance and long-term mortgage counseling.Administer Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes for housing-related projects.Oversee the department’s loan portfolio, ensuring daily upkeep and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.Budget and manage homebuyer assistance programs using Housing Bond funds, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds.Develop and implement strategies for affordable homeownership creation and sustainability.Contribute to the implementation of the City’s 10-Year Affordable Housing Plan (“Housing GSO”).Explore and establish new programs to support long-term homeownership in Greensboro. This job is Exempt and is not subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
