Compensation and Benefits:
Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $40,609 - $42,233 Full Salary Range: $40,609 - $57,437 Annually, depending on qualifications.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday (6:30a - 5:00p) “or” Tuesday - Friday (6:30a-5:00p)
This schedule is subject to change during a holiday week or for emergency service which may require working a flexible schedule with little or no notice and may include weekends, nights, or holidays. This employee will be assigned to the snow and ice removal program and will be subject to working 12-hour shifts during winter or other weather-related events.

About the Role:
The Street Maintenance Crew Member (Concrete) is responsible for maintaining the city's street infrastructure, including pouring and finishing concrete for sidewalks, curb & gutters, and traffic islands. In this role, you will:
- Operate job-specific equipment such as single axle and tandem axle dump trucks.
- Perform repairs on sidewalks, curb & gutters, and traffic islands.
- Assist in snow and ice removal and participate in the loose leaf collection program.
- Work in and around traffic and heavy equipment while following safety guidelines.
- Respond to emergency service needs, including flexible scheduling with little notice.
This employee must have good attendance and must maintain a reliable means of contact (i.e. home or cellular telephone). The physical duties include: standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven surfaces, shoveling, and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. Work is performed outside in all weather conditions. This employee must obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's Permit within 30 days of employment; and a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Tanker Endorsement within 120 days of employment to remain in the position.

What You Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with less than 1 year of experience or training in concrete construction (e.g., pouring and finishing concrete for sidewalks, curb & gutters, and traffic island installation).
- “OR” No High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience or training in concrete construction (e.g., pouring and finishing concrete for sidewalks, curb & gutters, and traffic island installation).
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience or training in concrete construction - I.e., pouring and finishing concrete such as sidewalks, curb & gutter, and traffic island installation.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License.
- Experience in traffic control setup.
