Hiring Salary Range: $45,017. - $63,379. Full Salary Range: $45,017. - $86,195. Annually

- The Equipment Services Technician will perform a wide variety of diagnoses, repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy trucks and truck-mounted equipment. The employee in this position must ensure the adherence to safe work practices and procedures. This is the full journey level class; the position requires FOUR YEARS of journey level experience performing minor and major equipment repair to heavy trucks and equipment. The position requires current possession of "OR" the ability to obtain a Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement, NC Emission/Safety Inspection License and Air Conditioning Recovery Certification within SIX MONTHS of hire date. The position requires walking, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. It also requires exposure to dust, grease, noise, heat, cold and inclement weather. This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- "OR" an equivalency of 1 Year Heavy / Medium Duty and Equipment Experience or Heavy Truck / Diesel Technology
- 4 years of documented Journey Level experience in heavy truck and equipment repair/maintenance
- Valid Driver's License
- Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement
- Emission/Safety Inspection License and Air Conditioning Recovery Certification ("OR" the ability to obtain within 6 months from hire date)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or higher in Automotive Systems Technology, Heavy Equipment & Transport Technology or "related" field
- 5 years experience in medium and heavy truck maintenance
- Certified NC Emission/Safety Inspection License
- ASE Air Conditioning Recovery Certification on Medium / Heavy Truck Series
This position is signing bonus eligible .
