Compensation and Benefits: Hiring Salary Range: $45,017 - $59,233 Full Salary Range: $45,017 - $80,557 Annually, depending on qualifications. Varied hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM evening per week, rotating weekend shifts: SAT 9:00 AM- 6:00 PM, SUN 2:00 PM-6:00 PM. The Greensboro Public Library (GPL), part of the City of Greensboro’s Libraries/Museum Department, comprises eight library locations and the Greensboro History Museum. The Greensboro Public Library is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented librarian to join the Information Services team at the Central Library. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to customer service, with the ability to: Provide reference services and assist customers in using library resources and technology.Evaluate and organize technology services offered to customers.Teach and promote technology and resources to the community.Create promotional materials, including social media content, videos, and graphic design for library services.Participate in collection development and maintenance.Work collaboratively with colleagues and community organizations to expand library outreach.
