- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12 month period.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department, a four-time National Gold Medal Award winner, is looking for a creative Video Content Specialist to help tell the stories of our parks, programs, and community. If you love social media, videography, and storytelling, this is the perfect opportunity to make an impact!
As a Video Content Specialist, you will:
- Capture compelling video and photography of Parks and Recreation events, staff, and community stories.
- Edit and produce engaging video content for both long-form storytelling and short-form social media posts.
- Utilize special effects, animation, and creative editing techniques to enhance content.
- Collaborate with the team to develop fresh, engaging ideas for digital storytelling.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- One or more years of experience with developing and creating compelling stories
- One or more years of videography and editing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Has developed videos at a professional level other than social media
- Has experience in video animation and effects
