What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Support Specialist III position at City of Greenville?
Due to an upcoming retirement, the Greenville Aquatics & Fitness Center (GAFC) seeks an experienced individual to fill a Staff Support Specialist III position. This public-facing position coordinates GAFC memberships and corporate billings and performs related work as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of:

- Serves as a central point of contact for GAFC members and responds to general inquiries;
- Prepares and maintains a variety of reports, forms, and information related to GAFC membership and sales;
- Processes new memberships and maintains membership database;
- Processes membership renewals and sends renewal notices;
- Sets up new corporate memberships and prepares corporate billings;
- Creates and maintains the GAFC membership filing system;
- Maintains statistics on monthly member counts;
- Processes monthly checking account and credit card drafts;
- Assists in the operations of GAFC by supervising the facility one weekend a month, and opening and closing shifts during the week;
- Provides facility tours and assists prospective members and guests with membership processes;
- Operates a computer and a variety of office equipment incidental to administrative support duties;
- Answers phone and directs calls to the appropriate staff;
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED (associate’s degree in office administration, business administration, or related field preferred); and
- At least three years of clerical/administrative support and customer service experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of:
