The City of Greer is currently accepting applications for multiple Summer Camp Counselor positions in the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.
Responsibilities : Oversees and plans activities for youth, ages 6-13, as well as organizes and implements games / themed activities related to the camp. Counselors may be individually responsible for small groups of campers and / or participate in large group activities.
Job Requirements : Applicants must be attending or graduated from high school. Must be certified in CPR and first aid (classes may be offered). Must be able to drive a City of Greer mini bus (training will be available). Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks. Must have valid state issued driver’s license. Must be able to work all weeks that the camp is open during the summer.
Hours : Monday - Friday, hours will vary between 7 : 15 AM – 6 : 00 PM; up to 40 hours per week.
Salary : $15.33 / hour
Summer Camp dates : Must be available June 9 – August 1, 2024 (closed July 1st –July 5th)
