What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant City Engineer position at City of Hallandale Beach?
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. Five (5) years of progressively responsible engineering experience in either design and construction of highways, streets, water distribution, waste water collection, site development, or other public works projects; and four (4) years of responsible supervisory experience in the design and construction of capital and public works projects; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
