High school diploma or GED; supplemented by three (3 ) or more years experience in the operation of heavy equipment or garbage trucks; experience in water distribution, or sewer transmission is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a valid Florida Class B commercial driver's license with an air brake endorsement and satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
