What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobility & Transportation Planner position at City of Hallandale Beach?
Responsible for planning, development, and administration of transit and transportation programs, planning studies, marketing, marketing research, federal government transit programs, grant administration. Serves as a liaison for Hallandale Beach with the business community, citizen groups, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Broward County, Regional Transit Authority, and other governmental agencies. Work is performed under nominal direction with considerable latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Position develops solutions to nonroutine issues, without appreciable guidance from others and exercises significant latitude in determining best approaches to critical assignments.

Certified planner designation from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) preferred. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.

Salary : $60,324 - $102,550
