Job Title: Part-Time Kitchen Worker

Location: Senior Center - Community Center

Harrison OH 45030

Hours: Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:30am - 2:00pm

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing lunch and snack meals for our seniors, including plating prepared meals and preparing meals on-site.
• Food Handling: Follow food handler guidelines for storing, refrigerating, and freezing foods. Record food temperatures at meal service.
• Serving: Serving food trays to Seniors
• Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas. Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
• Inventory Management: Check weekly deliveries of food and non-food supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation of items.
• Communication: Coordinate with staff for daily menu preparation needs and communicate any issues or updates.
• Safety and Compliance: Observe safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions, and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items weighing between 16 lbs and 35 lbs, such as food containers and dish soap, etc.

Qualifications:

• Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Education: High school Diploma or GED.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift

Experience:

• Kitchen management: 1 year (Preferred)
