The AMI Program Manager is a full-time, exempt position with benefits and a preferred hiring range of $30.90 - $33.99 per hour (equivalent to $64,272 - $70,699 annually); however, an exact salary will be dependent upon the selected candidate's qualifications/experience and in compliance with City policy.
As the AMI Program Manager, you'll perform skilled technical work in the development, deployment, and monitoring of the AMI system for the department, which includes overseeing and managing contracts, implementing system upgrades, and conducting network troubleshooting, diagnostics, changeouts, and repairs. The role requires regular interaction with billing and field personnel, customers, contractors, and vendors to address metering issues and ensure the continuity and performance of meter data management, data analytics, and demand response systems.

- High school diploma or GED and extensive (6 or more years) experience involving the operation and maintenance of water systems, water metering, water metering technology, project management, or personnel supervision. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be used to meet this requirement.
- Valid driver's license.
- Obtainment of the following certification/training within one (1) year of hire date:
- Cross Connection Prevention; and
- Confined Space Safety.
- Asset management certificate and project management certificate preferred but not required for consideration.
