DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Performs a variety of manual labor related to grounds maintenance and litter control at various city facilities. Typical duties include:
- Gather and remove trash, rocks, leaves, and debris at various city facilities. Walk site ensuring attractive and safe ground area(s).
- Use hand tools or powered equipment to perform a variety of grounds maintenance duties including mowing, trimming weeds, and removing snow and ice.
- Assist with general housekeeping of maintenance shops and offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
May be required to possess a valid driver's license.
Successful candidate must be able to pass post-job offer drug test and physical capacity profile.
HOURS
Part-time; Flexible 20 to 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday. May include heavier summer hours and lighter winter hours.
