Hastings Public Library users can now enjoy free access to everything the New York Times has to offer, including news, games, cooking, Wirecutter, and the Athletic. Access is available while logged in at the library or from anywhere with a 24-hour access code. Here's how to start exploring!
AT THE LIBRARY
- Log in to an HPL computer or connect to the HPL wifi on your personal device.
- Visit nytimes.com.
- Accept the Terms & Conditions.
- Select the LOG IN in the top right-hand corner.
- Create a free account or log in to your existing account.
- You will now be able to enjoy full access to all journalism on nytimes.com while logged in at the library.
FROM ANYWHERE
- Go to HPL's dedicated All Access URL to redeem a 24-hour access code.
- Your code will auto-populate. Select "redeem."
- Create a free account or log in to your existing account.
- After you receive confirmation that your access code is valid, you will have 24 hours of access to The New York Times News, Games, Cooking, Wirecutter, and The Athletic.
- When your 24-hour access code expires, you can repeat the process to redeem another 24-hour code.
