WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR
The City of Hays is looking for a reliable Plant Operator to assist in managing the City's wastewater treatment and water reuse facilities.

Requirements
Valid driver’s license & High School Degree or GED required. Dependability, great attendance record, a team player, and a positive attitude is a must. On the job training provided for the technical skills. This position requires a residency requirement of Ellis County within 6 months of employment.
Compensation
Pay based on experience:
Plant Operator 1 $18.70 - $19.46/hr. (No experience.)
Plant Operator 2 $19.85 - $20.65/hr. (1-3 years of water treatment experience, Class I, II, III Certification.)
Sr. Plant Operator $21.06 - $27.80/hr. (3 years of water treatment experience, Class IV Certification)
