The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Development Services Center Information Systems Analyst in the Building and Fire Safety/Development Services Center Department. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of complex and specialized technology and systems related tasks in support of various divisions/operational areas within the Development Services Center (DSC); and performs other related duties as assigned.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive Salary Range of $35.01 - $52.51 Hourly; salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity
- Base Wage increase upon successful completion of Initial Probationary or Qualifying Period**

- The expected schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 5:30pm (4 day work week)

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business administration, public administration, accounting, economics, or a closely related field
- Two (2) years of full-time experience that included performing research, analysis, and preparing analytical reports, or supporting and developing computer software applications
- Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
- Desirable: Certifications in administration of EnerGov or other permitting and management software
- Desirable: Experience performing research and data analyses for a permitting and land management agency
- Desirable: Experience as an administrative, technical, or business analyst for a public sector organization
- Desirable: Knowledge of or experience with relational databases or process workflows
