Required Qualifications
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
- Must be of good character and habits.
- Must pass a physical examination and police officer selection test given at Pennsylvania CareerLink @ Mercer County.
- Must be age 21 before the deadline for submitting applications.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalency certification.
- Must have the current Pennsylvania Act 120 certification and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
- $64,311 starting annual base compensation and $87,334 top annual base compensation (12-hour work schedule) with additional annual contractual increases.
