Provides supervision and safely interacts with children within the secure COREKids area located within the C.O.R.E. (Center of Recreational Excellence).
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Responsible for maintaining supervision of all children between the ages of six (6) months to twelve (12) years at all times. Provides a fun, entertaining, and safe environment. Additional duties include, but are not limited to greeting, acknowledging and interacting with guests and children in a friendly manner. Follows appropriate check-in and check-out procedures for COREKids. Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to other children, equipment, and surroundings. Keeps COREKids area sanitized and equipment organized. Adheres to assigned work schedule. Implements the CORE mission and philosophy. Follows all Standard Operating Procedures within COREKids. Immediately reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors or abuse.NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES May serve on various employee committees as required and assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate controls and reach with upper and lower body and hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may be required to stand up to a four (4) hour period of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office and moderately loud when in other parts of the facility. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals.
