What are the responsibilities and job description for the GOLF PLAYER SERVICES position at City of Hobbs?
Responsible to continually monitor, implement and adhere to all company goals, procedures and controls. Must be a leader in total customer service and satisfaction. Assist fellow player service staff in maintaining a clean and professional practice facility. Assist fellow player service staff in the daily requirements of maintaining a professional golf car fleet. Shall always represent the player services department in an exemplary manner. Maintain a clean and professional appearance in each other and the workplace. Shall be cooperative in performing any other duties deemed reasonable by the Supervisor and General Manager.
Some experience in the golf industry or playing golf is required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to waist height. Some repetitive motion required including computer entry. Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Normal vision and hearing ranges required. Regular attendance and overtime required for scheduled shifts.

- Ensure that practice facility is set up in the morning and practice balls are stocked throughout the day. Pick the driving range and clean range balls using equipment provided. Monitor the driving range on a regular basis to ensure baskets are put away, excess trash is removed and customers are given adequate service as needed.
- Bring out golf carts from the cart barn to the staging area as needed for guests. Drive cars in a safe and prudent manner and park golf cars neatly in space provided.
- Provide excellent customer service and enthusiasm to answer any and all questions and requests from our guests.
- Keep the perimeter of the clubhouse and the driving range free from debris and trash. Dump all trash cans around the clubhouse and driving range as needed during the day and at the close of business.
- Clean and maintain a proper golf car fleet. Keep the cart barn, work area and equipment clean and organized. Hose down entire golf car, seats, bag well, fender wells, top canopy, tires and wheels, glove box and floor board. Thoroughly towel dry entire body of golf car. Responsible for minor maintenance of golf cars and equipment.
- Cooperate in performing other duties deemed reasonable and necessary by the management. Greet each player in a friendly manner. Provide service in any and every way. Go the extra mile to provide the standard of service our members and guests expect.

Salary : $14 - $16
