Join our City of Hope team as a Clinical Nurse II. Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients? City of Hope has an exciting opportunity for you to join our compassionate and skilled healthcare team. As an ICU nurse you will play a crucial role in providing high quality patient care to critically ill oncology patients.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Integrates and practices according to the City of Hope Professional Practice Model to deliver care service excellence.
- In alignment with City of Hope mission and values, the Division of Nursing and Patient Care Services vision and mission, and with continuous focus on the patient, family and community, carries out the nursing process, coordinates interdisciplinary care planning, documents according to standards, including validation of the patient and caregiver's understanding of the plan of care and expected outcomes.
- The nurse is a change agent, committed to lifelong learning, professional development and embodiment of City of Hope organizational mission and values, and the values and ethos of the profession of nursing.
- Must be able to work 7pm - 7:30am - Nights
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Nursing is required or Graduate from a nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing and must obtain BSN within threeyears of hire or transfer.
- 1-3 years related experience
- Current CA RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
- ACLS through American Heart Association
- PALS through American Heart Association
