Job Details:
This is an internship position that intends to meet the following City goals:
- Support young adults who are underrepresented in the workforce and face a barrier to employment.
- Expose young adults to city government operation and the careers available to them.
This position will be an ongoing commitment beginning June 17th through August 7th, Tuesday-Thursday each week during the hours of 9:00am-4:00pm.Some positions may be a mix of regular business hours, night and weekend work.
Scope of Impact:
The duties and responsibilities of this job are performed with latitude for independent judgement in accordance with Department and City policies, Federal, State and Local regulations and are based on detailed knowledge of department operations. Work is subject to periodic review by the supervisor, who provides input on approval of recommendations and discusses assignments, priorities, and work.
