About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Recreation Department team as a Community Engagement Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community outreach and engagement strategies to promote youth recreation programs
- Build relationships with community members, local businesses, and non-profit organizations to secure sponsorships, funding, and in-kind donations
- Coordinate community events and promotional activities, including social media marketing and school visits
- Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts to support program growth and special events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2 years of experience in community engagement, marketing, or public relations
