Job Description
The objective of the Cashier is to account for all existing working cash assigned and revenues generated during scheduled shift accept admission fees and process course registrations pool reservations and passes. This position requires working some evenings and weekends.
Job Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintains accurate counts of daily attendance.
- Maintains the office in a clean and neat appearance.
- Operates the cash register and accurately collecting fees in accordance with established prices.
- Processes pool reservations and passes (daily and seasonal).
- Observes and enforces all rules and regulations of the facility.
- Responsible for basic reception duties including answering phones; providing accurate information to patrons.
- Distributes concession goods; keeping record of inventory; stocking inventory goods and lets supervisor know when inventory is low.
- Responsible for keeping the concession area and equipment clean including trash removal.
- Prepares and completes all required reports; accurately records and submits and/or deposits such records to the proper person or office.
- Serves as a facility monitor on an as needed basis in areas such as the waterslide; splash pad; gate; restrooms; etc.; enforces facility safety rules and assists in maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Attends scheduled training sessions and staff meetings.
- Responds quickly to all emergency situations; as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- One (1) year experience with cash handling and customer service.
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Knowledge of basic office duties including experience with computers; answering phones and copying and filing; preferred.
- Knowledge of water safety practices and usage of water safety equipment; preferred.
Required Licenses or Certifications:
- Valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Food Handlers Certification
Required Knowledge of:
- Ability to follow applicable local; State; and Federal laws; codes; regulations; and ordinances.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety policies; procedures and practices
- Ability to answer the phone and provide accurate information to callers.
- Ability to make change; perform simple mathematical calculations and accurately and legibly record entry in books and records.
- Ability to perform work in a safe and efficient manner and constantly be alert and aware of the hazards involved.Know and apply safety practices and principles in reporting and preventing accidents.
- Ability to perform work with tools; appliances and equipment to the manufacture’s specifications.The employee has the responsibility to learn how to properly operate them according to those specifications.
