The Seasonal Golf Maintenance Worker is responsible for assisting with mowing and maintenance of the golf course grounds. There are multiple work schedules and variations within this position.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Performs mowing duties on fairways, greens, tee boxes, rough etc. Operates string trimmers, prunes trees and lays sod and rakes bunkers.
- Waters greens and other areas by hand.
- Removes trash and debris from golf course.
- May perform course set up for daily play and tournaments.
- May perform maintenance and cleaning in course buildings.
- May perform painting duties.
- Communicate with golfing public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Direct all questions and concerns to supervisor.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR SUCCESS:
- EDUCATION: No high school diploma or GED required
- LICENSE: A valid Kansas driver's license is required
- OTHER: 4-8 hours a day, flexible. Potential of 5:30 a.m. start time.
This is not a KPERS covered position.
