The purpose of the Building and Standards Commission is to hear appeals and render decisions upon rulings by the building official when requests for a modification or a variation have been made and denied.
The Building and Standards Commission is comprised of five members appointed by the City Council who serve two-year terms. Members must be registered voters of the City.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
