Hourly Recycling Site AttendantPublic Works Department Job posted until filledVisit www.icgov.org/jobs to apply online Variable hours up to 10 hours per weekSaturdays & Sundays between 7:00am & 12:00pm Wage: $15.00 per hour Job summary: Under general direction, cleans environmental education center at East Side Recycling Center. Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, dusts and mops public education area, restrooms and hallway in environmental education center. Maintains outdoor recycling areas at the East Side Recycling Center and the Sturgis Ferry Recycling Center. Monitors and attends to oil recycling program at East Side. Monitors and attends to cardboard compactors at East Side and Sturgis Ferry. Picks up litter. Responds to questions from public. Conducts self in a manner which promotes and supports diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and community. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications: One month of building cleaning or maintenance experience required. Three months of experience in general labor required. One year of related experience and/or training preferred. Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required. Must be 18 years of age. Must pass criminal background check.
