What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planner position at City of Irving?
Duties include managing a variety of zoning, subdivision plat, landscape plan and development plan applications; verifying zoning for various customers; drafting amendments to the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances; providing assistance to citizens, outside agencies and City personnel regarding utilization of land and physical facilities; conducting research; compiling and analyzing data; preparing maps, graphics and reports; and similar current planning duties. Duties may also include making presentations to the City Council and a variety of boards and commissions. Any experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in urban planning or a related field and three years public sector experience required. A résumé must be submitted with application.
PAY GRADE GG20 / FULL PAY RANGE $5,033 – $7,091 PER MONTH
