If so, the City of Issaquah needs YOU this summer to help us live up to our incredible day camp reputation! As a Camp Counselor, you’re essential to creating a memorable camp experience for our campers! Full-time Staff, Subs & Floaters are all needed.
Day Camp Programs: *Training begins the week of June 16th
- Kindercamp serves up to 50 campers, grades K – 2
30-40 hours/week; 7 am – 6 pm for 8 weeks
Monday – Friday, June 23 – August 15, 2025
Mandatory Staff Training: June 16 - 20 (excluding June 19)
- Camp 'Quah serves up to 80 campers, grades 2 - 5
30-40 hours/week; 7 am – 6 pm for 9 weeks
Monday – Friday, June 23 – August 22, 2025
Mandatory Staff Training: June 16 - 20 (excluding June 19)
- Adventure Camp serves up to 20 campers, grades 5 – 7
40 hours/week; 7 am – 6 pm for 8 weeks
Monday – Friday, June 23 – August 15, 2025
Mandatory Staff Training: June 16 - 20 (excluding June 19)

- Ensure the safety of campers at all times.
- Plan, prepare, and lead engaging activities, games, and crafts.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive camp environment.
- Positively model behavior for campers, demonstrating responsibility and respect.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining camp facilities.
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with your team.
- Must show a passion for working with children and creating a fun, active, and positive environment.
- Must show strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a minimum of 17 years old.
- Must pass a criminal background check prior to onboarding.
- Must have current CPR & AED certification by the first day of camp. The city will offer training.
Salary : $17 - $25
