The Office of Economic Development Department is actively seeking a Compliance Manager.

Examples of Work
- Ensures that the OED stays on budget and compliant with all its various economic development agreements.
- Works with the Director of Operations to prepare and oversee annual operating and non-departmental budgets, including monthly tracking and forecasts.
- Works with the Financial Analyst to provide financial support for OED: loan disbursement, receivables, invoicing, reconciliations, and other financial support as needed.
- Monitors and coordinates efforts of staff relative to accounts payable, procurement, cash disbursement, and loan collections.
- Schedules, assigns, reviews, and evaluates the work related to contractual requirements in the OED Agreements.
- Works directly with clients to communicate and coordinate on contractual compliance.
- Coordinates with Office of General Counsel on contractual compliance.
- Oversees the budget for Cecil Commerce Center.
- Monitors the performance of the OED against strategic economic development and operational plans to ensure goals are met.
- Participates in long-range strategic planning.
- Assists in gathering data for OED Annual Report.
- Communicates clear direction, manages for results.
Open Requirements/Supplemental Information
- Six years of education and/or experience in budgeting, contract compliance, and management.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
