The Neighborhood Department is actively seeking a Community Development Coordinator.

- Coordinates and monitors contract and agreement administration activities for various projects.
- Creates, tracks, and maintains project reports.
- Researches and compiles data and prepares written reports and correspondence.
- Prepares and delivers verbal, written and visual presentations.
- Identifies and initiates innovative solutions to respond to customer requests for service.
- Collaborates with other city departments/divisions to achieve strategic planning and project goals.
- Develops recommendations and reports to include spreadsheets, graphs, and statistical analysis.
- Prepares written correspondence to program providers, citizens, and inter-governmental agencies.
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
- Performs related work as required.
- Four years of education and/or experience in project management, program administration, human services planning or a closely related field.
- Experience in project management, program administration, or housing and community development programs is preferred.
Licensing/Certification/Registration:
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license during employment in this class.
- Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a City of Jacksonville public driver certification for employment in this class.
