What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Night Lights- Site Leader & Assistant Site Leader position at City of Jacksonville?
If Selected for a Site Leader position
- You will need to be available to work Thursdays from 4 pm to 10pm for weekly meetings and conduct community outreach as well as facilitate basketball tournaments.
- You will need to be available to work on Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 11pm.
- You will be required to obtain a CPR/First Aide certification. We will provide certification and training, if needed.

Site Leaders - $18 hourly
Asst. Site Leaders - $15.00
- Supervise or assist with the supervision of teen squad members at assigned SNL site.
- Conduct activities for participants at assigned SNL site.
- Attend daily meetings to receive specific tasks for the day.
- Completes daily documentation such sign in sheets, time sheets, programmatic forms.
- Sets up and breaks down program activities and equipment.
- Assists with the facilitation of sports leagues, community and art workshops, food preparation and distribution and clean up.
- Inventories and maintains records of supplies and equipment.
- Performs related work as required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with youth in recreational, athletic, or educational programs and activities.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass background screening on a local, state, and federal level as required by the State of Florida Children and Family Services.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
- FL Class E Driver's License is required prior to appointment and must be maintained.
- Must meet standards required to obtain a City of Jacksonville driver's certification.
