The City of Jamestown is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Police Officer. The successful candidate will have completed an Associate of Arts Degree or more than 60 semester hour credits directly applicable to a Bachelor's Degree. Additionally, preference will be given to applicants who have completed the Peace Officers Basic Training and are currently licensed in accordance with North Dakota P.O.S.T. requirements. A valid North Dakota driver's license is also required.
The starting salary for this position is $4,809 per month, with a salary range of $4,809 - $7,268. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes excellent compensation and opportunities for advancement.
In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and maintaining public order within our community. You will work closely with other law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens.
