The City of Jamestown is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Plant
Operator. This position involves a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled labor
activities in the repair, maintenance, and operation of the wastewater treatment facilities.
Applicants must have the ability to learn the operation of motors, pumps, meters,
electrical systems, and related equipment in a wastewater plant. Applicants must have a
High School Diploma or GED and must hold a valid North Dakota driver’s license. The
successful applicant must possess or be able to obtain a minimum Class I Plant Operator
Certification from the North Dakota State Health Department.
The salary ranges for these positions are :
Operator I ($3,682 – 5,560 / mo.) Operator III ($4,585 – 9,928 / mo.)
Operator II ($3,956 – 5,973 / mo.) Operator IV ($4,734 – 7,159 / mo.)
