The City of Junction City is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to fill the position of part time Community Center assistant. In this role, you will assist in a variety of programs that serve the needs of the community. You will help oversee Community Center programs, providing excellent customer service, and support the evaluation and improvement of these programs. Your responsibilities will include preparing and distributing program information through newsletters, flyers, posters, and other media to keep the community informed about upcoming events and activities. Additionally, you will address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance to staff, volunteers, and participants to ensure the seamless delivery of programs.
The position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to establish positive relationships with the public, volunteers, and staff. You will need proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Access, Word, and Publisher, and have the ability to manage various online and offline program-related tasks.
