Examples of Duties
- Assist coordinator with public and private events.
- Assist with minor park facility repairs.
- Assist with inspections & repairs of playgrounds.
- Assist with maintaining safe parks & well-groomed park facilities for public use.
- Assist with preparing park facilities for various city sponsored events.
- May operate equipment to perform park maintenance activities.
- Trash & leaf removal.
Essential Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess valid driver license and reliable transportation to and from work site
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with the general public
- Basic knowledge of small maintenance equipment
- Proven track record of success in operating equipment within an environment in which safety is the most important priority?
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to all requisite safety precautions and actively participates in ensuring the well-being of colleagues and the community.
