Job Summary
Works under the general supervision of the Office Manager. Responsibilities include clerical work, customer service, ancillary product sales and inventory, automated campsite registration, accounting and reporting of daily revenue, general cleaning of the Park Office area, and other duties or projects as assigned. Due to the seven day per week operation of the Kerrville-Schreiner Park office, this position must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Performs general clerical duties.
- Performs customer service in a professional and friendly manner.
- Communicates with customers, employees, and others to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
- Prepares daily reports and data entry.
- Maintains filing systems.
- Answers telephone, take and routes messages, and direct calls.
- Takes and processes program and event registrations, changes, and cancellations.
- Keeps office area organized and clean.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies.
- Performs basic accounting duties, including daily deposits, accounting reports, and processing cancellations.
- Generates weekly status reports of park activities for the department.
- Performs follow-up duties on permits.
- Performs research and reporting as needed.
- Troubleshoots problems involving office equipment, such as computer hardware and software.
- Prepares meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record and transcribe minutes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of basic office skills and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational and math skills
- Proficient in the use of personal computers using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and account for revenue collected
- Ability to be bonded
- Ability to perform duties independently, without continual supervision, and to make decisions based on training

Education, Certification and Experiences
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of related office experience and one year of customer service experience.
- A valid Class C Texas driver’s license
