Job Summary:
Works under the general supervision of the Office Manager. Responsibilities include clerical work, customer service, ancillary product sales and inventory, automated campsite registration, accounting and reporting of daily revenue, general cleaning of the Park Office area, and other duties or projects as assigned. Due to the seven day per week operation of the Kerrville-Schreiner Park office, this position must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: This information is intended to be descriptive of the key responsibilities of the position. The following examples do not identify all duties performed by any single incumbent.
1) Performs general clerical duties.
2) Performs customer service in a professional and friendly manner.
3) Communicates with customers, employees, and others to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
4) Prepares daily reports and data entry.
5) Maintains filing systems.
6) Answers telephone, take and routes messages, and direct calls.
7) Takes and processes program and event registrations, changes, and cancellations.
8) Keeps office area organized and clean.
9) Maintains inventory of office supplies.
10) Performs basic accounting duties, including daily deposits, accounting reports, and processing cancellations.
11) Generates weekly status reports of park activities for the department.
12) Performs follow-up duties on permits.
13) Performs research and reporting as needed.
14) Troubleshoots problems involving office equipment, such as computer hardware and software.
15) Prepares meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record and transcribe minutes.
16) Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Knowledge of basic office skills and procedures

· Proficient in the use of personal computers using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro

Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids
· Operates office machines, including telephone, copier, fax machine, calculator, adding machine, scanner, phone, and voicemail system, computer, and other standard office equipment.
Education, Certifications and Experience Required:
· High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of related office experience and one year of customer service experience.
· A valid Class C Texas driver’s license
Physical and Environmental Conditions:
Duties are generally performed in an office setting; however, some time is spent outdoors. Occasional work requires lifting of objects up to 20 pounds to move objects. Must be able to sit for long periods. Work may also require stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
