Job Description:
LABORATORY ANALYST for the City of Ketchikan Public Works Wastewater division. Regular full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; $48.18/hr plus benefits. Performs a variety of laboratory analyses and testing, ensures safe, effective and efficient day-to-day operations, maintenance and interpretation of results of the laboratory. Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by college level course work or other specialized training in biology, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in chemistry, microbiology, biology, or a related field preferred. Five years of experience in professional environmental laboratory work, or combination of college course work and laboratory work. EOE/AA POSITION CLOSES APRIL 25, 2025 @ 5:00PM.
