What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Community Engagement Support position at City of Ketchum?
The City of Ketchum’s Community Engagement Department provides city-wide oversight of public communications, campaigns, media strategies, and events. They also oversee media and public relations. The department is currently recruiting for a contract position to help with daily operations. The ideal candidate would be located in the Wood River Valley and able to work in the office at least one day a week and attend select events. This is a year-round, 30-40 hour a week contract.
The contracted position would help with:
- graphic design and the creation of print and digital collateral;
- copywriting and content creation;
- creating and distributing campaign communications (ads, emails, social media, etc.);
- updated and refreshing web content;
- event planning;
- processing event requests from the public;
- and administrative assistance, as needed.
