We’re accepting applications for a full-time officer. The City of King City is a smaller community with a proud history and is seeking a professional, well-trained candidate. The duties and responsibilities of a small town Police Officer are much different than those of a larger agency. During your shifts you will have many different duties and will have to handle every type of call for service/incident, from start to finish. This is a small department, which relies on teamwork and community to succeed.

King City has a K-12 school located within the city limits and two reservoirs on the out skirts of town. Along with gas stations, numerous businesses and food establishments. King City is 30 miles from St. Joseph, 82.6 miles from Kansas City and located on 169 Highway.
