What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Parks Laborer (Seasonal) position at City of Kirkwood?
Responsibilities:
Performs unskilled and semi-skilled routine manual tasks associated with the maintenance of park grounds, facilities and roadways. Includes but not limited to cleaning restrooms, trash collection, operating backpack blower, operating string trimmer, pushmower, miscellaneous grounds work. Available for weekend morning rotation required. Some knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in the maintenance of park grounds and facilities preferred.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor in a variety of climatic conditions.
- Valid Drivers license required.
Hours: Employed for 40 hours per week from June through August.
Position open until filled.
