Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. This position will primarily assist with our youth sports and summer programs, as well as help coordinate and support various seasonal events. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports and recreation, have strong organizational skills, and enjoy working with children and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of youth sport and summer programs.
- Support event coordination, setup, and breakdown.
- Supervise and coach youth participants, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and other staff members.
- Help maintain equipment and facilities.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including registration and scheduling.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries from the public.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with youth and/or sports programs is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours, up to 32 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- This could be a year-round position if available.
