The City of La Crosse Parks and Recreation department is searching for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to add to our referee staff. If you have experience as a sports referee and have a passion to be a positive role model in your community, this may be the opportunity you’re looking for! We are currently looking for Youth Soccer referees this spring season starting Saturday, April 19th and finishing Saturday, May 10th. Any experiences are welcome and experience working with youth is preferred. This position offers very flexible hours!
Game days run every Saturday from Saturday, April 19th to Saturday, May 10th.
Responsibilities:
- Officiate and enforce the rules of the game during soccer matches
- Ensure fair play and sportsmanship among players
- Make accurate and timely decisions regarding fouls, violations, and other infractions
- Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and spectators
- Manage conflicts or disputes that may arise during games
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the integrity of the game
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Salary: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
