JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The City of La Grande is accepting applications for the following:
SEASONAL MAINTENANCE
(Summer months – several positions available with varying duration)
The City of La Grande is excited to offer for the Parks and Public Works Departments. These are excellent opportunities to work outside during the summer months in parks and public works facilities doing a variety of maintenance tasks. Some positions require weekend work, but all are full time 40 hour per week positions.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Perform a variety of unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled tasks related to area of assignment. Will perform a variety of maintenance, installation and regular repair duties in the general construction and maintenance of City facilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possession of a valid Orgon Driver’s License or obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- General knowledge in general maintenance or construction work.
- General knowledge in general yard work or agriculture.
