Golf Course Outside Services Assistant & Lead Outside Services Assistant

The Golf Course Outside Services Assistant and the Golf Course Outside Services Assistant Lead will perform a variety of functions in a lead worker capacity at the Indian Peaks Golf Course; Responsible for the monitoring and maintaining of range machines, range area, and equipment including golf carts, their storage and maintenance.

Must be at least 16 years of age to apply for these positions.The following duties are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive:
Golf Course Outside Services Assistant: 

• Responsible for upkeep of range balls and baskets; pick up and clean, constantly maintain sufficient supply, and store properly.   
• Responsible for upkeep of range machines; maintain range machines in good working order, report problems immediately to the supervisor, keep machines and surrounding areas clean, constantly fill machine with clean golf balls.  
• Responsible for the upkeep of golf carts to be rented; wash range carts at day’s end; report all needed repairs of range carts to the supervisor as soon as possible.  
• Transport carts from storage to staging area and vice versa; park carts neatly and safely; keep storage area clean and free of trash; routinely rotate carts.  
• Return all lost and found items to the Golf Shop.   
• Routinely scout entire Clubhouse area for trash.  
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Golf Course Outside Services Assistant Lead:

• Responsible for upkeep of range balls and baskets, i.e., pick up and clean, constantly maintain sufficient supply, and store properly.   
• Responsible for upkeep of range machines; maintain range machines in good working order, report problems immediately to the supervisor, keep machines and surrounding areas clean, constantly fill machine with clean golf balls.  
• Responsible for the upkeep of golf carts to be rented; wash range carts at day’s end; report all needed repairs of range carts to the supervisor as soon as possible.  
• Transport carts from storage to staging area and vice versa; park carts neatly and safely; keep storage area clean and free of trash; routinely charge carts.  
• Return all lost and found items to the Golf Shop.   
• Routinely scout entire Clubhouse area for trash.  
• Ensure quality service to the patrons of the Indian Peaks Golf Course by directing and supervising various range maintenance procedures.  
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Golf Course Outside Services Associate:
KNOWLEDGE:  Understand the game of golf.
SKILL:  Demonstrated skill in the operation of equipment necessary to perform the functions of the job.
ABILITY:  Understand and carry out oral and written instructions; maintain positive public relations even under adverse conditions; perform physical labor; work weekends and holidays. 
TRAINING:  Ability to take direction.
EXPERIENCE:  No specific requirement.

Golf Course Outside Services Associate Lead:
KNOWLEDGE:  Understand the game of golf; work around and with mechanical parts.
SKILL:  Demonstrated skill in the operation of equipment necessary to perform the functions of the job.
ABILITY:  Understand and carry out oral and written instructions; maintain positive public relations even under adverse conditions; perform physical labor; work weekends and holidays. 
TRAINING:  Ability to take direction.
EXPERIENCE:  No specific requirement.
