The City of Lake Oswego is looking for a dependable, responsible contributor committed to professionalism, excellence and success. This position performs a variety of project administrative support functions, goals, activities and events.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Performs typing assignments: proofreads, researches, gathers, compiles, and computes information and figures of a variety of reportsPerforms a variety of project administrative support functionsPlans, organizes, and conducts project activities and events, including carrying out logistical arrangements; provides appropriate and timely communication of project status.Develops, produces, and distributes program materials for public information, community involvement and program activities and events; prepares reports, written correspondence, contractual agreements, and routine publicity, including press releases and public service announcements, flyers and posters, etc. Maintains accurate and up to date records and project data; develops and uses spreadsheets, data bases and other computer applications to manage project activities and track associated costs.Conducts research and information gathering assignments for the department. Sets up and maintains filing systems, manuals, records, and spreadsheets. Performs bookkeeping and/or accounting/budgeting-related duties. Maintain records to include filing, data entry, reporting and documentation Including but not limited to contracts, insurance information, background checks, invoice processing and department statisticsAdminister registration and reservation software and system managementBack up coverage for front desk staffCommunicate with customers utilizing electronic methods, direct contact and postal mailingsAssists in recruitment of seasonal staff. Model respect for diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Hourly Compensation range: $26.53 - $33.89 / hourNon-cash compensation includes medical, dental, vision, PERS employee pick up, and VEBA contribution.Bilingual Pay: Employees who can speak and/or write a language listed in the top five (5) most common languages spoken in the Lake Oswego School District, may be eligible for three percent (3%) bilingual pay.Application Process: You may visit our web site at www.ci.oswego.or.us to access the online application process.
