What are the responsibilities and job description for the College Intern - Energy Production position at City of Lakeland, Civil Service?
This internship is with Lakeland Electric’s Energy Production. Interns will work a maximum of 29 hours per week.
- Work alongside Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial engineer
- Perform given tasks and assignments
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform related work as required
Enrollment in an accredited college or university in an Engineering program.
Required: A Resumé is required to be considered for this position.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS:
- Requires sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a recurring basis, routine keyboard operations
- The job risks exposure to no significant environmental hazards
- The job requires normal visual acuity, and field of vision, hearing and speaking
